Petit Signs For Futera

Futera have added yet another huge name to our range of on-card autos. Anyone for a World Cup winner?

Recently, we have brought you coverage of a plethora of legends signing their cards for Futera.

For those who don’t know, Emmanual Petit was part of the France side which lifted the coveted Jules Rimet trophy at their home tournament back in 1998.

During his career the enigmatic midfielder has graced the centre-of-the-park role for some of the world’s biggest teams including two stints in the Premier League with one of Futera’s Licensor Clubs Arsenal, and Chelsea.

After captaining Arsene Wenger’s Monaco to the Ligue 1 Title, Petit followed the legendary manager to the Gunners where more success followed, winning the Premier League and FA Cup in his first year with the club, before eventually leaving for Barcelona in 2000.

Petit eventually hung up his boots in 2005 after four more successful years forming an almighty partnership with Frank Lampard in the Chelsea midfield.

Futera x Petit

We recently sat down with Emmanuel and asked him to sign a selection of on-card autos. These rare cards will be available in up-coming sets, so keep your eyes peeled for those drops!

Plus, in true Futera fashion, we had the iconic Frenchman put pen to card to sign a couple of ultra-rare Futera ‘1 of 1’ cards, as well as two Arsenal Fans’ Section cards from our 1997/98 collection…

The cards feature stunning images of Emmanuel playing for his beloved France with his iconic long blonde locks in full flow, fresh from scoring in Les Blues’ 2-1 win over Denmark at France ‘98.

You might be forgiven for thinking we’ll be slowing down now having secured the signature of a World Cup winner and all that... but you’d be wrong!

Fresh from signing a licence with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, we’ll have more ‘big news’ about a further addition to the Futera family.

Keep an eye on our socials for more details!

Speak soon,

Tom
