Planned to release 1878 sets, this being the date of the club commencement. Numbers 1-188 came in a Leather Bound Album and numbers 189 onwards came in the Buckram Bookcloth Bound Album. Retail price was £149 for the Leather Bound Album and £99.75 for the Buckram Bookcloth Bound Album. Each card of the set is individually numbered with set number on the back of the card. Production problems plagued the set and it was eventually agreed with the printers to cease production at no more than 400 completed sets, making the completed sets extremely rare.
