The design of the series coupled with the reduced quality of paper meant the series was going to struggle when compared to the 1994 series. Licensing problems regarding to the use of Michael Schumacher's image on the redemption card also created production problems.

Series was poorer in quality than other Futera Series. Many problems arose as a result of the changeover of ownership of Futera at the time.

Number of major errors in the series coupled with the numerous wariations of the Schumachers redemption make the series particularly difficult to complete.

The wrapper redemption competition involving this series was a success with all 3000 cards having been redeemed.

***Number of variations now exist with the redemption card:

First variation
Original redemptions deemed "of 500" but only redemptions numbered 200 or under were released due to contractual arrangement with Schumacher. Upon redeeming, original card was nullified and the new redemption card of 200 was forwarded with picture card and certification card limited to 200. Redemption cards of "500 " were returned to collectors with a hole punched through redemption card.

Second Variation
Original redemptions deemed "of 500" but only redemptions numbered 200 or under were released due to contractual arrangement with Schumacher. Upon redeeming, original card was nullified and the new redemption card of 200 was forwarded with picture card and certification card limited to 200. Redemption cards of "500 " were not returned to collectors.

Third Variation
Redemption cards numbered 201 and above were released by Futera into the market place together with identically numbered picture cards and certificates.

Please note
Following research amongst collectors it is clear that the market price placed upon the redemption card is higher than the redemption set without the original redemption card. It is estimated that the redemption set without the original redemption card is valued 75% of the market price of the set including both redemption cards. Any set numbered above 201 would be valued at 50% of full market price.
