Futera is a 32 years established Trading Card Publisher (est. 1989). The Futera brand is synonymous with quality collector cards and is considered one of the world’s finest brands of quality limited edition collectible cards. The Futera brand generally commands the highest football (soccer) card values worldwide. Innovative and passionate about their card collections and service to collectors, Futera has pioneered several ‘world firsts’ for the Trading Card industry including the following.
‘WORLD FIRSTS' from FUTERA
Futera created the ‘1 of 1’ Autograph card - where only one of that card exists worldwide;
Unique numbering on Insert cards and Display Boxes;
Code for Collectors’ - enter a Futera card code to get information about its features and rarity with behind the scenes details about how it was produced (a free service created for collectors worldwide);
Memorabilia Colour Grading Charts’ - enter a Futera memorabilia card code to check and compare the rarity of its memorabilia feature (a free service created for collectors worldwide)
Futera was the first publisher to take traditional football cards online and provide interactive game experiences and information services for card collectors through Apps. Just as the Futera brand commands strong values for its physical collector cards, Futera branded ‘virtual’ cards are also sought-after collectibles, with trading values reaching USD$485 for a single Futera virtual card.
Futera made sports history by turning its online game into reality. ‘Futera FC’ became the first real football team in the world to be managed LIVE by an online community from their computers. 'Futera FC' was a professional Team playing in a National League with fans/collectors making key decisions through their computers live throughout the game - such as formation, tactics, playing style and substitutions - relayed by the Coach to the players on the pitch as the game played out.
Futera created a new dimension for football cards from as far back as 100 years ago where cards of great stars from a bygone era could be enjoyed in an interactive environment. Also featuring ‘virtual memorabilia' cards. Futera created a live Online Card Trading platform ‘eFutera' for the trading of virtual and physical cards (free service for worldwide trading).
