About
The Futera brand has been established in 1989, and is recognized as the world’s finest brand of quality limited edition collectible trading cards.
in 2009 Futera took the traditional ‘football card’ online and interactive with the launch of ‘World Football Online’ where players register their cards online and play in live football tournaments with other players from around the world. This is no ordinary online game and no ordinary card release – the cards are valued as quality collector cards in their own right but in addition have a role to play on the pitch!
Futera cards can trade for several hundred and even thousands of USD$dollars.
Top companies worldwide use Futera cards as premiums for their own marketing campaigns, including 7-Eleven, Carrefour, Nestle, Coca-Cola and many more.

FUTERA TRADING CARDS – why are they different?
Trading cards are bought and traded by collectors, card dealers and sports fans through Forums and auction sites such as EBAY or YAHOO, in order to complete a set and particularly to find the special or rare cards.
Most collectors are fans of the particular Trading Card subject matter (e.g. a particular sport or character), although Futera has customers who collect all Futera releases due to their high quality and rarity.
Over the 22 years since the Futera brand was created, it has produced trading cards on a very wide variety of subjects of golf, cricket, rugby, surfing, basketball, baseball, etc. Additionally, Futera has produced collections for the TV/Entertainment world including Barbie, the Feature Film Chicken Run, TV series Sci-fi Red Dwarf and Australia’s TV sitcom Shortland Street.
Due to the specialist nature of our collections involving the sourcing of a significant library of memorabilia and autographs, it would be usual for just one or two Futera collections to be released during any one year.
Futera – the rarity factor
- Futera’s Limited Edition trading card collection production runs are normally less than 1/3rd smaller than other Publishers.
- Futera was the first Trading Card Publisher in the world to individually number its Insert Cards.
- Futera often uses rare and unusual materials in the creation of its special cards, for example it has produced cards in 24ct Gold, Porcelain, Crystal and even Diamonds!
OTHER COLLECTIBLES: In addition to Futera’s Trading Card Collections, Futera produce other collectibles such as Stickers, Phonecards and Playing Cards.
