ZOU SHIMING Premium Boxing Card Collection (2017) - Limited Edition of only 750 Presentation Boxes
Olympic Gold Medallist and three-time World Championship winner Zou Shiming is one of China’s most admired sportsmen. As a flyweight, Shiming proved a dominant force for over a decade and ultimately rose to become the nation’s greatest ever boxer.
Futera was commissioned by the celebrity’s Licensors and Publishers ‘DAKA’ to design and produce a high-end Limited Edition Collection commemorating Shiming’s remarkable career. The Collection features fight-used memorabilia from his boxing history, provided personally by Zou Shiming, including his fight shorts, boots and sneakers, towel, boxing gloves, training gear and even Shiming’s Olympic tracksuit. A Futera-exclusive signing session for the Collection was filmed at Shiming's Shanghai Office where the star signed a range of autograph card designs including 24ct gold plated Autograph + Memorabilia combo cards, rare ‘Mythicals’ and ‘1 of 1’ cards. Each Presentation Box comprises a complete 30-card quality Base Set spanning Shiming’s career and fight history highlights, an ultra-rare Parallel card, plus either two rare Memorabilia cards or one rare Memorablia card plus a Zou Shiming on-card signed Autograph or Combo Autograph with Memorabilia card.
All insert cards are Individually foil-numbered and have a unique security/information code providing access online to information about the card’s features and rarity including memorabilia colour grading (see Futera free collector services at www.futera.com). Futera’s Parallel Sets are always kept rare, and have become identifiable collectibles in their own right under Futera’s historic brand title ‘Heritage’. The Zou Shiming Parallel ‘Heritage’ Sets were created as a gold foiled Set (of only 5 sets) and a silver foiled Set (of only 20 sets). The Collection's Locker Room Memorabilia Sets feature one, two, three and even four types of different fight memorabilia on the same card. Some cards such as ‘Mythicals’ are presented in 24ct gold-plated frames, and the Collection features 24ct gold-framed ‘Futera 1 of 1’ on-card signed autograph cards where only one of each card exists worldwide. Note: Futera created the concept of the ‘1 of 1’ autograph card as an integral element of their Collections some years ago and which has since become an identifiable category for the Hobby). Each Presentation Box comes with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its rarity as being from a Limited Release of only 750 Presentation Boxes.
